Equestrian Concludes Season at IHSA Regionals

BROOKVILLE, N.Y. — The Pratt Institute equestrian team saw wrapped up their 2024-25 season at the IHSA Regional Finals held Sunday at the North Shore Equestrian Center.

Grace Plunkett led Pratt's efforts and was the lone Cannoneer to qualify in two disciplines. She earned third place in Open Hunter Seat Equitation on the Flat – one position shy of advancing to Zones — and seventh place in Open Hunter Seat Equitation over Fences. Plunkett ended a successful rookie season in fifth place among the Region's High Point Open Riders.

Teammates Paty Garcia and Maria Alcivar added to Pratt's results, placing sixth and seventh, respectively, in Introductory Hunter Seat Equitation. Chloe Joyce and Aahan Pradhan each earned Regionals Qualifier ribbons.

Pratt concludes their season in sixth-place in the Region. Head Coach Jake Pittari and Associate Head Coach Kathryn Cullen-DuPont accepted the sixth-place team honor on behalf of Pratt.
