HADDONFIELD, N.J. — Sophomore goalkeeper Hayden Pettit was selected as the Atlantic East Conference Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for games played September 7-13, the league office announced today.
Pettit (Houston, Texas) made nine saves to help Pratt salvage a 1-1 draw with Keystone College on Tuesday at home keeping the Cannoneers within reach despite a 21-15 disadvantage in total shots, in the Cannoneers lone game of the week.
Lucca Novi (The Woodlands, Texas), scored the equalizing goal in the 69th minute — the second goal of the season for the rookie — and was recognized on the league's weekly honor roll for his efforts.
The weekly men's soccer accolade is the first for Pratt since joining the Atlantic East in the 2024 season.
Pratt (1-1-1) puts a two-match unbeaten streak on the line tonight, hosting Clinton Hill rivals St. Joseph's University-Brooklyn at 7:30 p.m. at Randall's Island Field 10.
