GREENVALE, N.Y. – In the final show of the fall season for the Pratt Equestrian team, Wren Walker qualified for IHSA Regionals at the LIU Show on Sunday. Walker and Lily Bielawski both collected first place in the team's fall finale – Walker in Introductory Hunter Seat Equitation and Lily Bielawski in Novice Hunter Seat Equitation.
Walker joins Lauren Morgan as the second rider to qualify for regionals and pointed out to Pre-Novice.
Alin Kutan placed fourth in Open Hunter Seat Equitation over Fences and fifth in Open Hunter Seat Equitation on the Flat.
Kaitlyn McVeith secured a pair of fifths in Limit Hunter Seat Equitation over Fences and in Limit Hunter Seat Equitation on the Flat. Chloe Joyce also placed fifth in Limit Hunter Seat Equitation on the Flat
Magia Alcivar and Paty Garcia both placed fifth in Introductory Hunter Seat Equitation.
Morgan finished in sixth in Limit Hunter Seat Equitation.
The Cannoneers accumulated 10 ribbons on the day and placed seventh as a team. After the fall schedule, Pratt sits in sixth in the region.
Pratt opens their spring season begins on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at the Adelphi University Show at Parkview Equestrian Center in Connequot State Park.
