NEW YORK — The Pratt Institute track and field teams resumed their indoor season competing in the Ramapo College Season Opener on Friday afternoon.
Siena Sujitno turned in the highest placing finish on the track taking 23rd in the 60-meter dash in 8.36. Kayla Galvan posted a personal-best 11.70 in the 60-meter hurdles to collect 25th. Alyssa Trujillo clocked in at 2:50:01 in the 800-meter run for 38th while Sarah Cawley took 41st in 2:52.59. Giovanna Lisa ran the 3000-meter in 12:42.16 for 39th overall.
Hannah Kim hurled 8.41 meters in the shot put for 15th – the top finish for the black and gold.
Dylan Costa paced the men with a 30th-place finish in the 60-meter dash in 8.19. Devaun Longley took 31st in 8.27 and Soren Ekstrom was 32nd in 8.46.
Chris DeGaetano posted a pair of personal-bests running 25.45 in the 200-meter (74th place) and 58.25 in the 400-meter (47th place).
Pratt travels to Alvernia University on Saturday, February 1st for the PLEX Shootout.
