Pratt (1-1) set the tone defensively, racing out to a 7-0 lead and holding York to three points in the first quarter and building a 23-13 halftime lead. The Cannoneers broke it open to start the third as Kylie Grant (Dallas, Texas) delivered back-to-back steals and layups in the opening minute for a 27-13 advantage. Pratt outscored the Cardinals 18-10 in the frame and never looked back.

Grant stuffed the stat sheet with 11 points, 10 steals, six assists and seven rebounds in 23 minutes of play. Junior forward Emily Carlson (Utica, N.Y.) added 11 points and 14 rebounds to round out the three double-double efforts.
Pratt's pressure produced 22 steals and 22 points off turnovers. The Cannoneers owned a 66-55 rebounding margin and scored 38 points in the paint with 21 fast-break points. First-year forward Lola Mactavish (Sydney, Australia) grabbed 10 boards with three steals, graduate guard Miga Higa (Torrance, Calif.) chipped in five points and two assists, and first-year forward Jordan Cho-Wolfe (Brooklyn, N.Y.) supplied four points off the bench.
