HADDONFIELD, N.J. — Following an undefeated performance at the top flights in a narrow 4-3 setback to Marywood, junior Mikah Liu (Austin, Texas) of the Pratt Institute men's tennis team was named the Atlantic East Conference Player of the Week on Monday.
The recognition marks the fifth time Liu has garnered the league's top weekly honor during the 2025-26 campaign, having previously won the award three times in the fall and once earlier this spring.
Liu delivered a flawless individual outing against the Pacers on Thursday. He helped the Cannoneers strike first in doubles play, teaming up with first-year Wyatt Myers (San Francisco, Calif.) for a commanding 6-2 victory at the No. 1 position.
Transitioning to singles, Liu remained a steady force at the top of the lineup. He dispatched his opponent in straight sets, earning a 6-2, 6-4 triumph to secure a crucial team point for Pratt.
With the 2-0 afternoon, Liu stayed perfect against Atlantic East opponents this spring. The junior currently holds an unblemished 3-0 record at both No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles in conference action.
Liu and the Cannoneers visit Lehman College tomorrow, April 7 for a non-conference road test at 3:30 p.m.
