SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. — First-year Peter Burnham (Duxbury, Mass.) and senior Calder Tillinghast (Seattle, Wash.) represented the Pratt Institute men's tennis team at the 2026 ITA Northeast Regional Championships, hosted by Skidmore College.
Burnham earned a singles victory in the consolation draw to pace the Cannoneers. After falling 6-4, 6-3 to Boris Slesarev of New York University in the main draw Round of 64, Burnham secured an 8-6 win over Michael Lerman of Farmingdale State College in the consolation Round of 32.
Tillinghast opened singles action in the Round of 64, dropping a 6-1, 6-0 match to Stuart Konezny of Hamilton College. Moving into the consolation Round of 32, Tillinghast pushed Jonas Santos of Vassar College to a tiebreak before falling 8-7 (6).
In doubles competition, Burnham and Tillinghast paired up in the main draw Round of 32, dropping a 8-0 decision to Alexei Katelevsky and Filip Glov Moeller of Hamilton College. The duo then fell 8-0 to Simon Philip and Arhan Gupta of Union College in the consolation Round of 16.
Pratt will conclude its fall schedule on Saturday, Oct. 24, traveling to Brooklyn College for a noon match in Brooklyn, N.Y.
