HADDONFIELD, N.J. — The Pratt Institute junior Mikah Liu was named the Atlantic East Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week on Monday for the period of Oct. 13-19, following Pratt's 7-0 win over Brooklyn College on Thursday.
It is Liu's third weekly accolade this season, receiving the honor on Sep. 22 and Oct. 6.
The leader of the Cannoneer lineup from Austin, Texas went 2-0 in the convincing victory. He teamed with Caleb Callahan (New York, N.Y.) for a 6-0 win at No. 1 doubles, then closed out a 6-0, 6-2 decision at No. 1 singles.
The match was Pratt's lone competition of the week as they finished the fall at 3-2 and enter the spring on a two-match win streak.
