HADDONFIELD, N.J. — Junior Mikah Liu has been selected as Atlantic East Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week for the second time this season, following a standout performance in Pratt Institute's 6-1 victory over Rutgers-Camden on Sunday afternoon.
The Austin, Texas native earned a straight-sets victory at No. 1 singles, taking the match 7-6 (6), 6-2. He also partnered with Caleb Callahan for a 6-3 win at No. 1 doubles, helping Pratt secure the points in the lead matches in the top courts.
With Liu leading the way, the Cannoneers picked up their second win of the fall and leveled their record at 2-2 on the season.
Liu previously earned Player of the Week honors on Sept. 18 – the first of his career.
Pratt tries for two in a row welcoming Baruch College on Sunday, October 12 to the USTA National Tennis Center, starting at 4:30 p.m.
