LANCASTER, Pa. — Capping off their inaugural season in the conference, the Pratt Institute men's tennis team placed four student-athletes on the 2025 Atlantic East Conference All-Conference Team, as announced by the league office Wednesday.
Headlining the Cannoneers' selections, Mikah Liu and Justin Urbi earned First Team honors in both singles and doubles play. John Cherry and Nathan Park were named to the Second Team singles lineup.
Liu had an outstanding season at Pratt's No. 2 singles position, finishing conference play undefeated throughout the regular season and postseason at 5-0 and tallying an impressive 9-3 overall singles record. He also excelled alongside Urbi at No. 1 doubles, where they posted a flawless 5-0 overall record, including a perfect 4-0 mark in Atlantic East matches.
Urbi led the Cannoneers lineup in his first season on the team and recorded a 3-1 singles record in conference matches, finishing the season with a solid 3-2 overall singles record all at the No. 1 position.
Cherry provided consistent results across the middle of the lineup, concluding the season with an 8-3 overall record in singles while going 3-1 against Atlantic East competition. Park similarly contributed strong performances at multiple singles positions, finishing 8-4 overall, including a successful 3-1 effort against conference opponents in the No. 3 and 4 positions.
In their first season in the league, Pratt finished in second place with a 3-1 mark and as semifinalists in the 2025 Atlantic East Conference Championship. The Cannoneers compiled an 8-6 record overall, the most victories for the program in a single season on record.
