HADDONFIELD, N.J. — Contributing a pair of wins to Pratt Institute's victory over Bard College yesterday, junior Mikah Liu has been selected as the Atlantic East Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week for the week ending Sept. 21.
Liu takes home the first weekly award of the season and receives it for the second time in his career – receiving it once last season in Pratt's first year in the league. The Austin, Texas native led the Cannoneers lineup and posted a straight-set, 6-0, 6-3 win at No. 1 singles and teamed up with Caleb Callahan for a 6-2 triumph at No. 1 doubles.
Pratt defeated Bard, 4-3, to pick up their first win of the season and improve to 1-1 overall. Cannoneers return to the courts on Saturday, September 27 for a road match at Drew University.
